Gondtherium dattai
Taxonomy
Gondtherium dattai was named by Prasad and Manhas (2007). Its type specimen is VPL/JU/KM/12, a tooth (left P3), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Paikasigudem village, which is in a Toarcian/Aalenian terrestrial siltstone/sandstone in the Kota Formation of India. It is the type species of Gondtherium.
