Oligocolius brevitarsus

Taxonomy
Oligocolius brevitarsus was named by Mayr (2000). Its type specimen is SMNS 80529/2, a partial skeleton (incomplete disarticulated skeleton lacking the skull, most of the left wing and the left foot), and it is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Frauenweiler, which is in a Rupelian estuary/bay claystone in Germany.
