Turnipax oechslerorum
Taxonomy
Turnipax oechslerorum was named by Mayr and Knopf (2007). Its type specimen is SMF Av 506a+b, a partial skeleton (slightly dissociated skeleton lacking skull and right foot), and it is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Frauenweiler, which is in a Rupelian estuary/bay claystone in Germany.
