Taxonomy
Lucina schrammi was named by Crosse (1876). It is extant. It is the type species of Loripinus (Pegophysema), Pegophysema.

It was recombined as Loripinus (Pegophysema) schrammi by Stewart (1930); it was recombined as Pegophysema schrammi by Woodring (1982); it was recombined as Anodontia (Pegophysema) schrammi by Glover and Taylor (2007).
