Taxonomy
Lucina schrammi was named by Crosse (1976). It is extant. It is the type species of Pegophysema.

It was recombined as Pegophysema schrammi by Woodring (1982); it was recombined as Anodontia (Pegophysema) schrammi by Glover and Taylor (2007).
