Taxonomy
Phacoides sperabilis was named by Hedley (1909) [DISTRIBUTION: Recent; Indo-Pacific.]. It is extant. It is the type species of Liralucina.
It was recombined as Linga (Bellucina) sperabilis by Lamprell and Healy (1998); it was recombined as Parvilucina sperabilis by Zuschin and Oliver (2003); it was recombined as Liralucina sperabilis by Glover and Taylor (2007).
