Megapaloelodus connectens
Taxonomy
Megapaloelodus connectens was named by Miller (1944). Its type specimen is UCMP 37367, a limb element (distal right tarsometatarsus), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Flint Hill North, which is in a Hemingfordian terrestrial horizon in the Batesland Formation of South Dakota.
