Inaequidens davisi
Taxonomy
Inaequidens davisi was named by Pojeta and Gilbert-Tomlinson (1977). Its type specimen is UT 94498, a shell, and it is not a trace fossil. Its type locality is Locality 75. Shale at Zeehan Smelters Quarry, Zeehan, which is in an Eastonian transition zone/lower shoreface shale in the Gordon Limestone Formation of Australia. It is the type species of Inaequidens.
