Zeehania jacksoni
Taxonomy
Zeehania jacksoni was named by Pojeta and Gilbert-Tomlinson (1977). Its type specimen is CPC 15495, a shell, and it is not a trace fossil. Its type locality is Locality 75. Shale at Zeehan Smelters Quarry, Zeehan, which is in an Eastonian transition zone/lower shoreface shale in the Gordon Limestone Formation of Australia. It is the type species of Zeehania.
