Cassidulinoides was named by Cushman (1927) [Sepkoski's age data: T Plio-l R]. It is extant. Its type is Cassidulina parkeriana.

It was assigned to Cassidulininae by Cushman (1927); to Foraminiferida by Sepkoski (2002); and to Islandiellidae by Kiessling (2009).
