Taxonomy
Bahinolophus was named by Tsubamoto (2005) [Mammalia, Perissodactyla, Deperetellidae. Bahinolophus Tsubamoto (in Tsubamoto et al., 2005)]. Its type is Bahinolophus birmanicus. It was considered unknown by Tsubamoto et al. (2005).

It was assigned to Deperetellidae by Tsubamoto et al. (2005).
