Natica eburnoides was named by Grateloup (1847) [DISTRIBUTION: Early Miocene; France.]. It is not a trace fossil.

It was recombined as Ampullospira eburnoides by Cossmann and Peyrot (1919); it was recombined as Pachycrommium eburnoides by Lozouet et al. (2001).
