Turricula bristoli was named by Maury (1925) [DISTRIBUTION: Miocence; Trinidad and Tobago.]. It is not a trace fossil.

It was recombined as Vexillum bristoli by Mansfield (1925); it was recombined as Uromitra bristoli by Woodring (1964).
