Terebra gausapata laevifasciola was named by Maury (1917) [DISTRIBUTION: Miocene-Pliocene; Dominican Republic.]. It is not a trace fossil.

It was recombined as Terebra laevifasciolum by Maury (1917); it was recombined as Strioterebrum laevifasciolum by Woodring (1970); it was recombined as Strioterebrum laevifasciola by Landau and Marques da Silva (2010).
