Terebra haitensis was named by Dall (1895) [DISTRIBUTION: Miocene-Pliocene; Caribbean.]. It is not a trace fossil.

It was recombined as Terebra (Hastula) haitensis by Dall (1903); it was recombined as Terebra (Oreoterebra) haitensis by Woodring (1970).
