Drillia maonisriparum was named by Maury (1917) [DISTRIBUTION: Miocene-Pliocene; Dominican Republic.]. It is not a trace fossil.

It was recombined as Crassispira (Crassispirella) maonisriparum by Woodring (1970); it was recombined as Crassispira maonisriparum by Woodring (1928) and Perrilliat and Flores-Guerrero (2011).
