Cancellaria (Narona) losquemadica was named by Maury (1917) [DISTRIBUTION: Miocene-Pliocene; Dominican Republic.]. Its type specimen is PRl 28671., a shell, and it is a 3D body fossil.

It was recombined as Tribia losquemadica by Woodring (1928).
