Taxonomy
Drillia enneacyma was named by Brown and Pilsbry (1913) [DISTRIBUTION: Late Miocene; Panama.]. Its type specimen is ANSP (no number), a shell, and it is a 3D body fossil.

It was recombined as Syntomodrillia enneacyma by Woodring (1928); it was recombined as Agladrillia (Agladrillia) enneacyma by Woodring (1970).
