Taxonomy
Eugyra clavisepta was named by Morycowa and Decrouez (2006). It is not a trace fossil. Its type locality is Hergiswil corals, Switzerland, which is in an Aptian open shallow subtidal limestone in the Schrattenkalk Formation of Switzerland.
