Columnocoenia ksiazkiewiczi

Anthozoa - Scleractinia - Placocoeniidae

Columnocoenia ksiazkiewiczi was named by Morycowa (1964). It is not a trace fossil. Its type locality is Jastrzebia, Grodziszcze Beds, Carpathians, which is in a Barremian reef, buildup or bioherm reef rocks/conglomerate in the Grodziszcze Formation of Poland.

It was synonymized subjectively with Columnocoenia aragonensis by Löser and Saldana Villodre (2008); it was recombined as Columnocaenia ksiazkiewiczi by Kiessling (2008).
