Taxonomy
Clathurella amicta was named by Guppy (1896) [DISTRIBUTION: Early Pliocene; Jamaica.]. It is extant. Its type specimen is USNM 107142, a shell.

It was recombined as Glyphostoma amicta by Mansfield (1925); it was recombined as Nannodiella amicta by Woodring (1928) and Woodring (1970).
