Taxonomy
Nucula (Nucula) delphinodonta was named by Mighels and Adams (1842) [DISTRIBUTION: North Atlantic, east Canada to North Carolina, Florida Keys.]. It is extant.

It was recombined as Nucula delphinodonta by Mighels and Adams (1842) and Mikkelsen and Bieler (2008); it was recombined as Ennucula delphinodonta by Huber (2010).
