Volvarina collina

Taxonomy
Marginella collina was named by Olsson (1922) [DISTRIBUTION: Late Miocene; Costa Rica.]. It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Hill No. 1, Banana River [Rio Banano Fm], which is in a Piacenzian marine siliciclastic in the Rio Banano Formation of Costa Rica.

It was recombined as Volvarina collina by Woodring (1970).
