Euclia codazzii
Taxonomy
Cancellaria codazzii was named by Anderson (1929) [DISTRIBUTION: Middle-Late Miocene; Colombia, Panama.]. Its type specimen is CAS 4645, a shell, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is CAS Loc. 325A, between Chorrera and Cibarco [Tubará Fm], which is in a Miocene marine siliciclastic in the Tubará Formation of Colombia.
It was recombined as Cancellaria (Euclia) codazzii by Woodring (1970) and Landau et al. (2007); it was recombined as Euclia codazzii by Landau and Marques da Silva (2010), Landau et al. (2012) and Landau et al. (2012).
