Vexillum (Uromitra) callipictum was named by Woodring (1928) [DISTRIBUTION: Early Pliocene; Jamaica.]. Its type specimen is USNM 369439, a shell, and it is a 3D body fossil.
It was recombined as Uromitra callipicta by Woodring (1964); it was recombined as Uromitra callipictum by Hendy et al. (2008).
