Natica pallida was named by Broderip and Sowerby (1829) [DISTRIBUTION: Late Pleistocene-Recent; northern Atlantic, northern Pacific.]. It is extant.

It was recombined as Polinices pallida by Hopkins and MacNeil (1960); it was recombined as Lunatia pallida by Eiriksson et al. (2004); it was recombined as Euspira pallida by Majima (1989) and Hendy et al. (2008).

  • Natica groenlandica was named by Möller (1842) [DISTRIBUTION: Pleistocene-Recent; Northern Atlantic]. It is extant.

    It was recombined as Polinices groenlandicus by Richards (1962); it was synonymized subjectively with Euspira pallida by Hendy et al. (2008).
