Taxonomy
Nucula (Nuculopsis) hilli was named by Woodring (1925) [DISTRIBUTION: Miocene-Pliocene; Caribbean.]. Its type specimen is USNM 352728, a shell, and it is not a trace fossil. It is the type species of Ennucula (Lissanucula).

It was recombined as Ennucula (Lissanucula) hilli by Woodring (1973).
