Taxonomy
Pleurotoma reticulata was named by Brown (1827) [DISTRIBUTION: Pleistocene-Recent; Northern Atlantic.]. It is extant.

It was recombined as Lora reticulata by Willett (1937); it was recombined as Propebela reticulata by Simonarson et al. (1998); it was recombined as Curtitoma reticulata by Hendy et al. (2008).

Synonyms
  • Pleurotoma trevelliana was named by Turton (1834) [DISTRIBUTION: Pleistocene-Recent; Northern Atlantic.]. It is extant.

    It was recombined as Clavatula trevelliana by Wood (1848); it was recombined as Oenopota trevelliana by Bennike et al. (1994); it was synonymized subjectively with Curtitoma reticulata by Hendy et al. (2008).
