Pseudallomys nexodens
Taxonomy
Pseudallomys nexodens was named by Korth (1992). Its type specimen is CM 11898, a mandible (partial right mandible with M1-M3), and it is not a trace fossil. Its type locality is South Side of Dry Hollow, which is in an Orellan terrestrial horizon in the Dunbar Creek Formation of Montana. It is the type species of Pseudallomys.
It was recombined as Ansomys nexodens by Hopkins (2004).
