Ennucula tenuis

Bivalvia - Protobranchia - Nuculidae

Arca tenuis was named by Montagu (1808) [DISTRIBUTION: Circumboreal and Arctic Ocean, Bering Sea, Gulf of Alaska-California, Mediterranean, Florida, Japan; western North America (Pliocene-Pleistocene).]. It is extant.

It was recombined as Nucula tenuis by Woods (1850) and Richards (1962); it was recombined as Nucula (Nucula) tenuis by Grant and Gale (1931); it was recombined as Ennucula tenuis by Coan et al. (2000), Huber (2010), Coan and Valentich-Scott (2012) and Hendy (2020).
