Ansomys nevadensis

Taxonomy
Ansomys nevadensis was named by Kelly and Korth (2005). Its type specimen is LACM 151454, a mandible (partial left dentary with m1-2), and it is not a trace fossil. Its type locality is Massacre Lake RV-7043, which is in a Hemingfordian terrestrial horizon in Nevada.
