Taxonomy
Nevadaphyllites was named by Guex (1980). It is not extant. Its type is Nevadaphyllites compressus.

It was assigned to Juraphyllitidae by Taylor (1998), Macchioni et al. (2006), Yin et al. (2007) and Meister et al. (2010).
