Metopaster trichilae trichilae was named by Breton (1992). It is not extant. Its type specimen is Holotype MHNH 8415, paratypes MHNH 8416-8420. It is the type subspecies of Metopaster trichilae.

Enlarged ultimate superomarginal plates of with indentation in abactino-distal position, which can modify outline of the adradial surface of articulation with the neighboring plate. |
