Galerix rutlandae
Taxonomy
Galerix rutlandae was named by Munthe and West (1980). Its type specimen is H-GSP 2371, a tooth (M1 sup. dext.), and it is not a trace fossil. Its type locality is Daud Khel Local Fauna, which is in a Miocene/Tortonian fluvial sandstone in the Chinji Formation of Pakistan.
