Taxonomy
Lucina candeana was named by d'Orbigny (1853) [DISTRIBUTION: Pleistocene-Recent; Caribbean.]. It is extant.

It was recombined as Diplodonta candeana by Woodring et al. (1924); it was recombined as Felaniella (Felaniella) candeana by Hendy et al. (2008).
