Scala (Sthenorhytis) antiguensis was named by Brown (1913) [DISTRIBUTION: ? Oligocene or Early Miocene; Caribbean.]. Its type specimen is ANSP 1645, a shell, and it is not a trace fossil.
It was recombined as Epitonium (Sthenorhytis) antiguense by Cooke (1919); it was recombined as Sthenorhytis antiguense by Hendy et al. (2008).
