  • Cerithium stantoni was named by Dall (1907) [DISTRIBUTION: Pleistocene-Recent; Caribbean.]. It is extant.

    It was recombined as Cerithium (Vulgocerithium) stantoni by Vaughn (1921); it was synonymized subjectively with Cerithium guinaicum by Hendy et al. (2008).
