It was reranked as Natica (Lunatia) by de Gregorio (1890); it was reranked as Polinices (Lunatia) by Dall (1892) and Nagao (1928); it was reranked as Polynices (Lunatia) by Martin (1904); it was synonymized subjectively with Euspira by Kabat (1991).
