Euspira marylandica

Taxonomy
Lunatia marylandica was named by Conrad (1865) [DISTRIBUTION: Paleocene-Early Eocene; Atlantic Coastal Plain.]. Its type specimen is ANSP 15177, a shell, and it is not a trace fossil.

It was recombined as Natica marylandica by Cossmann (1893); it was recombined as Euspira marylandica by Palmer (1937) and Palmer and Brann (1966).
