Eotriceratops xerinsularis
Taxonomy
Eotriceratops xerinsularis was named by Wu et al. (2007). Its type specimen is RTMP 2002.57.5, a partial skeleton, and it is not a trace fossil. Its type locality is Eotriceratops type, Dry Island Buffalo Jump Provincal Park, which is in a Maastrichtian terrestrial shale in the Horseshoe Canyon Formation of Canada. It is the type species of Eotriceratops.
