Aspella senex

Taxonomy
Aspella senex was named by Dall (1903) [DISTRIBUTION: Pliocene-Pleistocene; Florida.]. Its type specimen is USNM 163959, a shell, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is TU 539a - Shell Creek (unnamed Post-Caloosahatchee), which is in a Pleistocene coastal horizon in Florida.

It was recombined as Aspella (Aspella) senex by Olsson and Harbison (1953).
