Bharattherium bonapartei

Taxonomy
Bharattherium bonapartei was named by Prasad et al. (2007). Its type specimen is VPL/JU/33, a tooth (fragmentary cheek-tooth), and it is not a trace fossil. Its type locality is Kisalpuri, which is in a Maastrichtian terrestrial siltstone in India. It is the type species of Bharattherium.
