Clarkeipterus testudineus

Taxonomy
Dolichopterus testudineus was named by Clarke and Ruedemann (1912). It is not a trace fossil. Its type locality is Cranes Corners, which is in a Cayugan shallow subtidal dolomite in the Bertie Limestone Formation of New York.

It was recombined as Clarkeipterus testudineus by Dunlop et al. (2013).
