Atrina argentea

Taxonomy
Pinna argentea was named by Conrad (1848) [DISTRIBUTION: Early Oligocene; Gulf Coastal Plain.]. Its type specimen is ANSP 10222, a shell, and it is not a trace fossil.

It was recombined as Pinna (Atrina) argentea by Cooke (1921); it was recombined as Atrina argentea by Dall (1898) and Dockery (1982).
