Lucina (Callucina) choctavensis

Taxonomy
Lucina choctavensis was named by Meyer (1886) [DISTRIBUTION: Early Oligocene; Gulf Coastal Plain.]. Its type specimen is USNM 644600, a shell, and it is not a trace fossil.

It was synonymized subjectively with Myrtaea (Myrtaea) curta by Dall (1903); it was recombined as Lucina (Callucina) choctavensis by Bretsky (1976) and Dockery (1982).
