Taxonomy
Lucina (Cyclas) subrigaultiana was named by Meyer (1886) [DISTRIBUTION: Early Oligocene; Gulf Coastal Plain.]. Its type specimen is USNM 644599, a shell, and it is not a trace fossil.

It was recombined as Divaricella subrigaultiana by Mansfield (1940); it was recombined as Divaricella (Divalinga) subrigaultiana by Bretsky (1976) and Dockery (1982).
