G. Storch and D. Dashzeveg 1997 | P4-M2 distinctly expanded transversely. Pp4 relatively small. P3 iwth anteroposteriorly short lingual lobe. Hypocone on P4 -M2 small and conical, no posterolabial ridge on P4 hypocone. Postmetaconule crest on M1-2 short, not reaching postcingulum. (Diagnosis of upper dentition based only on Z. russelli). p1 lacking. p2 single-rooted. Paraconid of p4 protruding anteriorly, high, and pointed. Slight reduction in size from m1 to m3. m1-3 with well-developed labial cingulid along protoconid and hypoflexid. Metaconid and entoconid of m2-3 not canted strongly lingually. |
