Yoldia peninsularis
Taxonomy
Yoldia peninsularis was named by Anelli et al. (2006) [DISTRIBUTION: Early Miocene; Antarctica.]. Its type specimen is GP/IT 2161, a shell, and it is not a trace fossil. Its type locality is Cape Melville Fm -Penguin Rookery section, King George Island, which is in a Miocene offshore sandstone in the Cape Melville Formation of Antarctica.
