Crassatella carolinensis

Taxonomy
Crassatella carolinensis was named by Conrad (1875) [DISTRIBUTION: Campanian; Atlantic Coastal Plain.]. Its type specimen is USNM 31929, a shell, and it is not a trace fossil.

It was recombined as Crassatellites carolinensis by Stephenson (1923).
