Modiolopsis convexa

Taxonomy
Modiolopsis convexa was named by Cullison (1938). Its type specimen is Missouris School of Mines and Metallurgy No. 7109, a shell, and it is not a trace fossil. Its type locality is Geiser Quarry, 2.1 km east of Dutchtown. Unit 2, which is in a Cassinian carbonate limestone in the Dutchtown Formation of Missouri.
